**The Youth Office of the Haan City Administration is looking for a Specialist for Childcare Services (m/f/d) starting on June 1st, 2024 for 19.5 hours/week (unlimited contract). The salary is based on pay group S12 TVöD SuE (Social and Educational Services).


The Specialist for Childcare Services at the Youth Office is the central point of contact for parents who want to have their child cared for by a childcare provider.

They are responsible for the individual and careful placement of the child with a childcare provider, as well as providing guidance and support to parents and childcare providers throughout the entire care period.

The Specialist also assesses the suitability of the childcare provider and issues the necessary permits.


The main tasks include:


  • Providing guidance to childcare providers and legal guardians, as well as parents or parent figures, on all matters related to childcare
  • Assessing the suitability of childcare providers
  • Placing children with childcare providers
