Description

Our client in the publishing industry is currently seeking a Senior Controller (m/f/x) for their headquarters in Cologne. This is a direct permanent position with our client.

Responsibilities:

  • Consulting and project work, such as setting up and expanding controlling systems and processes, as well as special projects like the implementation of Business Central
  • Development and creation of reports and ad-hoc analyses for management and executives
  • Preparation of cost analyses and reports for profit centers, products, and customers
  • Identification and implementation of potential cost savings
  • Participation in monthly and annual financial statements
  • Calculation of license fees
  • Communication and collaboration with other departments and international sales offices
  • Point of contact for controlling-related questions

Profile:

  • Completed degree in business administration with a focus on controlling/accounting or relevant training with additional qualifications
  • Several years of professional experience in controlling at a medium-sized, internationally operating family business
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel), ERP systems such as MS Navision and/or Business Central, and BI tools
  • Strong understanding of numbers, quick comprehension, and analytical thinking
