About The Helix School

Responsibilities:

Working with head teacher, Counselor, Speech Therapist, Social-Emotional Learning Specialist and/or Occupational Therapist for 1:1 delivery of special education plans and daily instruction
Assisting the head teacher and others on the student's team in preparing and presenting academic plan
Provide behavioral support to student when needed
Under direction of teachers and therapists, collect data as needed.

Qualifications:

2 years working with children (special education strongly preferred)
Ability to work on an interdisciplinary team and
Experience in handson teaching delivery

Benefits:

School holidays including two weeks at Christmas, a week of winter and spring break, national holidays observed; Daily schedule is 8:00am to 4:00pm; medical & dental benefits available to school employees.
