About the role:


You will be responsible for driving digitalization in Germany With your background in geography, you can join various projects at the STF Group.


The main focus will be on planning topics:

  • Your tasks will involve broadband planning for different telecommunication companies and public clients this includes broadband planning, approval planning, and other technical aspects (such as fiber fine planning)
  • Together with your team and your GIS knowledge, you will advance the expansion of fiber optics in Germany: for example, you will design fiber optic plans, evaluate network elements, and plan new network elements
  • Depending on the client or project, your tasks may also include creating performance specifications for construction, strategic network construction planning, or cost estimates for underground construction

What we are looking for:
The exact scope of your tasks will depend on you, your interests, and the current project situation and location. We will discuss this together in a personal interview.

You can join the STF Group as a recent graduate or with professional experience.

For this, you should bring the following:

  • You have a degree in geography, geosciences, geomatics (or similar), or a completed vocational training as a geomatics technician (or similar)
  • You have (some) experience with geographic information systems (ArcGIS or QGIS)
  • You are detailoriented and analytical
  • You have some experience in project environments
  • You have excellent German language skills, both written and spoken
