Doncasters is an internationally oriented manufacturer of metallic components for tolerance-critical applications with production facilities in Europe, USA, and Mexico.

At the Bochum location, Doncasters Precision Castings-Bochum GmbH produces runner and guide vanes for aircraft engines and stationary gas turbines using the investment casting process.

The Bochum production facility casts both polycrystalline and directionally solidified or single-crystal components.

Your responsibilities:
X-raying turbine blades (operating X-ray equipment)

Comparing weights

Developing and evaluating films

Partially setting up and operating the X-ray equipment, evaluating on a screen

Recording measurement results using a PC

Assisting in the X-ray room and finishing department

Responsible management of the film storage

Ongoing inspection of batches for completeness, if necessary completing them, quality control (visual inspection) of turbine blades

Input into the production data acquisition system (currently Syspro)

Your profile:
Completed vocational training in a manual trade, preferably in a foundry

First professional experience in an industrial production environment
