The Carl Gustav Carus University Hospital in Dresden offers medical care at the highest level and covers the entire spectrum of modern medicine.

It brings together 26 specialist clinics, 17 interdisciplinary centers, and six institutes that work closely with the clinical and theoretical institutes of the Medical Faculty.

With 1,410 beds and 201 places for the day treatment of patients, it is one of the largest hospitals in Saxony and the only maximum care hospital in Eastern Saxony.


We are currently seeking a position as a Pharmaceutical Technical Assistant for the Quality Control and Drug Manufacturing departments of the hospital pharmacy, to be filled on a full-time or part-time basis, and with an indefinite contract.


Your responsibilities will include the entire spectrum of drug analysis and manufacturing in a modern clean room area, including the production of cytostatic preparations.


Your main tasks will include:

In the Quality Control department:


  • Testing of finished drugs and medical devices, testing of starting materials and packaging materials, testing of extemporaneous preparations, and participation in the development of new testing methods, as well as in validations, calibrations, and stability studies.

In the Drug Manufacturing department:


  • Supplying the clinics of the UKD with drugs manufactured in the pharmacy, production and control of sterile solutions, (other) drugs, and drug preparations, other preparatory activities for the dispensing of drugs and other pharmacy goods, as well as computerassisted processing of orders
