Meet the team:
The Dexcom 3PL team oversee logistics activities at various third-party distribution centers across North America.
The team specifically focuses on DC inbound activities, DC outbound activities, inventory management, commercial customer complaint coordination/resolution, and monitoring/measuring site KPI's.
This team works very closely with the Transportation, Inventory Planning, Quality, Commercial, and Tech Support teams. We are looking for someone who has a thorough understanding of 3PL/DC activities, can use data analytics to problem solve, is great at building trusting relationships, has a passion for continuous improvement, and wants to join a fast-paced and supportive teamWhere you come in:
You will be responsible for monitoring day-to-day operations at our North American 3PL sites, which includes inbound receiving flow, outbound shipment flow, and inventory management to ensure that all applicable KPI measurements are maintained.
You will provide strong leadership to a team of Analysts on the North American 3PL team.
You will ensure daily targets are met including receiving turnaround time, outbound on-time shipping, Inbound and outbound processing accuracy, and inventory management in support of North American strategy.
You will need to perform root cause analysis and develop corrective action plans on target misses to continuously drive for improvements in performance and identify areas for standardization in network.
You will drive best practices in terms of receiving, shipping, and inventory management; standardize these practices through the documentation of work instructions.
You will be expected to collaborate with cross functional teams of stakeholders and business partners to create efficiencies in the overall operation of our 3PL sites in North America with a focus in fortifying relationships with regional teams.
You will be expected to propose and implement process improvements to streamline 3PL site operations, reduce costs, and/or increase productivity while ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance is met.
You will conduct detailed investigations, including 5-why, fishbone, or DMAIC to support the documentation of quality gaps and/or process improvements through the CAPA process.
You will drive Logistics Excellence initiatives to meet business objectives on time and within budgetYou will build collaborative and trusting relationships cross functionally within Dexcom, and with 3PL providers in North America.
Develop a culture of high performance and high engagement through site activities, training, coaching, individual development.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What makes you successful:
You will need to be a self-starter, with a positive "can do" attitude that can perform at a high level.
You'll need experience with various software/systems including Oracle, WMS, TMS, CRM, and/or dock scheduling systems.
You'll need to demonstrate experience in Lean Six Sigma, and 6S (Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred).
You'll need to have experience with overseeing large projects that span across multiple functional areas.
You'll need to have experience working with, or in the 3PL industry.
You'll be expected to be a highly visible leader with the greater Logistics and Distribution team.
Medical Device industry experience is a plus.
An understanding of EDI system to system communications is a plus.

Experience and Education
Typically requires a bachelor's degree with 8-12 years of industry experience.
2-5 years of previous management or lead experience.
Flex Workplace:
Your primary location will be a home office. You will not have an assigned workstation and will work with your manager to determine office visit needs. You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km)
