Our global commodity team is seeking a qualified Materials Project Manager to join their team in Phoenix, AZ.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage projects for semiconductor NPI activities.
  • Supporting BU Engineering for design improvements, new supplier qualification, etc.
  • Manage programs for material tracking, project team qualification and implementation
  • NPI, change and SAP management and material tracking for Engineering projects
  • Ensure supply continuity for a rapidly growing business unit requiring flexibility and agility

Job Requirements:


  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Finance or other related fields
  • Experience in a global work setting is preferable
  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, capital equipment or similar high technology manufacturing environment
  • APICS certification, Lean Six Sigma training, negotiation certification or other Supply Chain related programs a plus
  • Familiarity with SAP (or similar ERP) order management, PO module and MRP driven activity
  • Ability to manage across multiple functional groups to achieve common goals
  • Responsible for supplier selection to meet total sourcing expectations quality, delivery and cost requirements
  • Performs opportunity analysis to identify projects that will deliver significant cost savings and value to the Business Unit and Global Operations
  • Semiconductor capital equipment experience is a plus.
