Reynolds is one of the largest community colleges in Virginia and serves Virginia's capital city and five nearby counties. Annually, our four campus sites serve approximately 13,000 credit students and provide training for 7,400 students through the Community College Workforce Alliance. Reynolds is committed to hiring and retaining a racially diverse, culturally competent staff at all levels of the organization who reflect the demographics of our students. We also believe in providing an ongoing investment in our faculty and staff to deepen their skills and competencies to serve the full range of our student population.
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Finance and Administration, the Director of Financial Operations plans, organizes, and directs the college's financial operations. These include managing the accounting department, student aid disbursement, grant disbursements, budget development and reporting, financial statement preparation, audits responses, and the Agency Risk Management Internal Control Standards (ARMICS). This position will also provide leadership to develop/utilize financial dashboards to monitor and report on the college's financial position and to perform process improvements. Additionally, this position create strategic partnerships with college executives to review departmental funds, develop budgets, and collaborate on the strategic uses and generations of funds.
