    Position SummaryAt Empower, the role of a Customer Service Representative is crucial to our commitment to exceptional quality and service.

    This position is the heart of our customer interactions, where empathy, efficiency, and expertise converge to provide an unparalleled experience.

    You will be the voice of Empower, responding to and assisting customers with a professional, friendly, and prompt demeanor.

    As a Customer Service Representative, you will handle a high volume of inbound calls daily, making each customer feel valued and understood.

    Your responsibilities will also include making outbound calls to providers and patients, processing orders, refunds, and cancellations, and managing refill requests and payments.

    Your expertise in our compounding products, services, and pricing will be essential in providing accurate information and resolving customer inquiries.

    You will play a pivotal role in maintaining customer satisfaction by resolving complaints and issues efficiently, escalating complex matters to management when necessary.

    Utilizing our internal resources, you will ensure that every customer interaction meets the highest standards of satisfaction.

    Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponds and assists customers in a prompt, friendly and professional manner.
    Manages a large volume of inbound calls daily.
    Makes outbound calls to providers as well as patients.
    Resolves customer complaints and issues in a timely and satisfactory manner, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
    Provides accurate information about compounding products, services, and pricing and any additional customer inquiries.
    Processes orders, refunds, and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
    Takes requests for refills from patients as well as payments for orders.
    Utilizes internal resources to ensure customer satisfaction.
    Ensuring proper transfers to the appropriate departmentsFollows up with patients who request an update on orders.
    Maintains confidentiality and ensures HIPAA compliance by protecting privacy and security of PHI.Performs other duties as assigned.

    Experience and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. A college degree preferred.
    One year of pharmacy experience or healthcare-related experience preferred.
    Pharmacy Technician license a plus.
