- Coordinate the daily operations of the RF to ensure an efficient and uninterrupted supply of vaccines and related supplies to Member States.
- Lead the collection process of regional vaccine demand, ensuring timely submissions and monitoring for bottlenecks.
- Review and approve procurement requisitions, monitor vaccine procurement and supply, and manage RF capitalization account.
- Provide technical support and coordination for process improvements and efficiencies of the RF.
- Offer guidance to Member States on RF procedures and agreements with partners.
- Contribute to policy updates, provide data for the RRF web page, and present periodic updates.
- Supervise staff, establish work objectives, and conduct performance appraisals.

Description
The RRF special program consists of two funds - Revolving Fund for Access to Vaccines (RF) and Strategic Fund for Public Health Supplies (SF).
This program aims to enhance cross-functional integration, collaboration, and optimization of processes and value-added services between SF and RF to address the evolving strategic and technical needs of Member States for vaccines and public health supplies.
RF ensures equitable access to safe, effective, and affordable vaccines through the pooling of vaccine demand from Member States.
SF focuses on improving access to quality-assured, safe, effective, and affordable essential medicines and strategic public health supplies.
These funds provide technical cooperation to Member States along the supply chain, playing pivotal roles in PAHO's strategy for Universal Health.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
A bachelor's degree in business administration, industrial engineering, logistics, finance, or related field related to the post's functions.
In case of an interview, scanned copies of required degrees must be provided.
PAHO recognizes degrees from institutions listed in the World Higher Education Database (WHED).
Experience:
Essential:
Five years of national and international experience in logistics management, with emphasis on vaccine management, procurement, finance, and supply chain.
Desirable:
Experience in logistics management within an international organization.
