YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Consulting companies on all types of sales tax and related business issues, both national and international, especially in the areas of supply chain management or M&A transactions
  • Management of projects directly with our clients (e.g. sales tax checks, creation of sales tax manuals, workshops) as well as ongoing sales tax advice, including drafting/reviewing sales tax opinions and expert opinions in German and English
  • Correspondence with various tax authorities and in the context of roll-outs of business transactions with our foreign colleagues in the International VAT Group
  • Review of sales tax returns, sales tax prepayments, registrations for sales tax purposes, etc.
  • Accompaniment of national and international tax audits, sales tax special audits, and information requests
  • Clarification of legal principles in the context of court proceedings before national and European courts
  • Accompaniment of sales tax corrections

YOUR PROFILE

  • Completed degree in law or business studies or comparable education, preferably with a completed professional examination (tax consultant, lawyer)
  • Knowledge of national and international tax law as well as several years of professional experience in the field of national and international sales tax law
  • Experience in project management of sales tax projects is an advantage
