Job Summary:

Duties:


  • Assist patients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Monitor and record vital signs under the direction of healthcare professionals
  • Provide assistance with feeding, tube feeding, and catheter care as needed
  • Support patients with mobility issues and help them move around
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to patients undergoing hospice care
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of patient care
  • Work in settings such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or private residences

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Personal Care Assistant or similar role in a healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and basic patient care techniques
  • Familiarity with assisting individuals with activities of daily living
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
  • Understanding of safety protocols and infection control measures in healthcare environments

Pay:
$ $23.09 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
