Who we are:


Under the name "Verflickst & Zugenäht", we operate three stores on Bernstorffstraße in Tegel - our main store with a wide range of fabrics, yarns, and haberdashery, our alteration tailoring shop with sewing machine sales and sewing course offerings, and our sewing machine workshop with an attached special sale for discounted clearance items.

Bernstorffstraße is located directly at one of the exits of Alt-Tegel subway station. The Tegel S-Bahn station is also just a few minutes' walk away.

We are currently looking for a part-time or full-time salesperson (m/f/d) to join our team at our main store.

The position includes the following tasks:

  • Customer consultation/service
  • Cashier duties
  • Stocking/rearranging merchandise in the store
  • Retrieving/organizing merchandise from the warehouse
  • Assisting with maintaining our inventory system (e.g. taking/updating inventory)
  • Depending on skills and commitment, also assisting with "background tasks" such as receiving shipments, creating new items in the cash register system, etc.
  • Maintaining a tidy appearance of the store (tidying up, keeping it clean)
  • If talented and interested, also assisting with window displays

What we expect from you:

  • You have a passion for knitting and/or crocheting and have at least basic knowledge of different yarn qualities in order to provide expert advice in
