Foosland is looking for an IT specialist as an information security coordinator (m/f/d) to join our team in the main office.

This is an unlimited, part-time/full-time position that offers the opportunity to be an active part of the energy transition.

Working at Foosland means shaping the energy future of the city.

We provide electricity and gas to more than customers in Hamburg and deliver around 25% of the city's district heating in the form of district heating.

By 2030, we will produce district heating without coal, and by 2045, we will be climate-neutral. With 900 employees, Foosland makes the largest individual contribution to achieving the city's climate protection goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing data and perimeter protection, as well as information and IT security, in a team
  • Maintaining close communication with internal stakeholders and external service providers
  • Evaluating reports of security vulnerabilities and violations of IT security regulations and ensuring appropriate corrective measures are taken
  • Collaborating with the Information Security Officer to update the IT security concept and support the development
