What to expect:
At the Siler City location of K+S Minerals and Agriculture GmbH, we are currently offering a Werk+Student position (20 hours/week) in our Shipping unit at the Bernburg site. You will be responsible for the following tasks:

Developing potential for digitalization and optimization of internal pallet handling during delivery/exchange
Analyzing lead times and time slot adherence, as well as validating loading capacities provided by the TM (Transportation Management / software platform "TRANSPOREON")
Creating a concept study for the implementation of a yard management system at the Bernburg site, based on the OAS yard management system at the Borth site
Examining the use of 2D/QR codes (two-dimensional/QR-Quick Response) and RFID technology (RFID-Radio Frequency Identification) in the logistics chain
Validating the interfaces SAP <> PLS (Process Control System) with regards to their future viability when implementing S4/HANA
Assisting with the digital archiving of transport documents

What you bring:

Enrolled student in the field of logistics management, business administration, industrial engineering, digital media and management, data science, AI engineering or a similar program, preferably with a focus on logistics
Good MS Office skills (Word
