    This role offers the unique opportunity to weave the diverse threads of our global operations into compelling narratives that resonate both internally and externally.

    Reporting to the Senior Director of Communications, you will be the creative force behind multimedia content that captures the essence of our innovative projects and the vibrant culture that has placed us on Fortune's Great Place To Work lists for seven consecutive years.


    As a key communicator for our team of 1,200 worldwide, you will manage and support initiatives that amplify WP Engine's market leadership and reinforce our renowned company culture.

    Collaborating closely with senior leaders, you will articulate the evolving contributions of our team, bringing to life the stories behind the technology and creativity that drive our success.

    Key Responsibilities

    Internal Comms

    Content Sourcing:
    Identify and highlight the most engaging initiatives, products, locations, and customer stories.

    New Company Initiative Narrative Development:


    Collaborate with executive leaders to create narratives that clearly articulate our strategic direction and innovations through different multimedia mediums, artwork, video, etc.

    Slide

    Presentation Development:


    Design impactful presentations for Town Halls and leadership meetings, showcasing our achievements and plans in a visually creative and compelling manner.


    Editorial Calendar Management:
    Work with stakeholders to plan and execute a communications calendar that aligns with our strategic objectives.


    Communications Channel Oversight:
    Keep our company intranet, newsletters, and email communications vibrant with fresh, engaging content.

    Executive Speaker Bureau

    Strategic Framework Development:

    Craft a framework for senior leadership to showcase our expertise at industry events, involving the creation of speaking abstracts, slides, and talk tracks.


    Opportunity Identification and Management:
    Identify and secure executive speaking opportunities, ensuring readiness through presentation and talking point preparation.

    Thought Leadership Development.


    Collaborate with the VP of Corporate Marketing and the Senior Director of Communications to craft and launch thought leadership campaigns.

    This role grants exclusive access to shape pivotal messages from the inside out, amplifying WP Engine's industry leadership through our speaking circuit.

    Multimedia Mastery:


    As a communications virtuoso, you'll engage our audiences using a diverse mix of media, including dynamic presentation decks, documentary-style videos, and interactive content on our WordPress-based intranet.

    Your toolkit includes PowerPoint, Google Slides, Adobe Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve, Slack, email block-builders, and WordPress.


    Presentation Development:
    Your skill in storytelling combines visuals and narrative to captivate our audience, choosing the perfect medium for each story.


    Creative Ideation:
    A key aspect of keeping communications fresh is regularly revamping how we tell the same stories. You have a natural ability to find a compelling, creative, and fun way to tell those stories.

    Superior Command of Written Language:
    Your exceptional communication skills are matched by a commitment to quality, creativity, and a positive, forward-thinking attitude.

    With a keen interest in the tech and marketing sectors, you're at home in the world of site building, WordPress, and digital experience platforms.

    Base Salary Range

    $96, $144,000.00


    We believe that compensation should be reflective of the impact you have within the organization relative to the market value of your role.

    The estimated base salary range for this position is as listed above. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Our salary ranges are determined by job role and responsibilities and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for salaries for the position nationwide.

    The actual base pay will vary based on various factors including job-related skills and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
