Job Overview:
Opin is seeking a proactive and engaging Community Manager to serve as a host in the Opin App, ensuring a welcoming and informative environment for all members.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about nurturing online communities, keen on facilitating meaningful interactions, and dedicated to providing outstanding customer support.
Responsibilities:
Community Management:
- Act as the primary host within the Opin App
- Engage with member comments & facilitate community discussions
- Monitor discussions to ensure alignment with community guidelines
- Prepare Zoom webinar links & post scheduled Q&A events in the App
- Monitor comments during live Q&As to ensure alignment with community guidelines
Customer Support:
- Design & implement customer support process
- Respond to user queries and DMs within the App
- Coordinate with platform provider support via Mighty Networks
- Build and supervise Customer Support team as user volume increases
App Administration:
- Add & edit page content within the app
- Monitor & adjust page settings, networks settings, and other features within the app
- Stay updated with new features from our platform provider, Mighty Networks
Social Media Coordination:
- Assist in moderating Opin's social media channels, engaging with community members through direct messages and comments.
- Collaborate with the Social Media team to schedule and manage posts across various platforms.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in moderating large online communities, facilitating meaningful discussions, and driving community engagement
- Excellent interpersonal skills; comfortable being the primary point of contact for a publicfacing community of 20,000+ members
- Experience in content preparation and technical administration within digital platforms, experience with Mighty Networks communities preferred
- Management Experience Preferred; build and lead a team dedicated to customer support and community engagement
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- 3+ years of professional community moderation or customer support experience.

Pay:
$65, $75,000.00 per year
