The Israelite Community of Munich and Upper Bavaria, a registered religious organization, is currently seeking a Psychologist for our Counseling Center (m/f/d) at the earliest possible date.

Your responsibilities:

  • Counseling for children, adolescents, and parents with a Russian or Ukrainian background
  • Cooperation with youth welfare offices, schools, kindergartens, and other institutions
  • Counseling for separation and divorce (MüMo)
  • Conducting various thematic group offerings for parents (parent evenings, workshops)
  • Conducting various thematic group offerings for children (e.g. concentration, social skills, separation and divorce)

Your profile:

  • Degree in Psychology or Social Pedagogy
  • Additional training in therapy (e.g. systemic therapy / behavioral therapy / mediation)
  • Professional experience in counseling parents, children, and adolescents
  • Professional experience in the field of youth welfare
  • Experience in working with traumatized children and adolescents
  • Cultural competence and sensitivity
  • Knowledge of Russian and Ukrainian is an advantage
