    Description

    POSITION GOAL


    Assist the Director, Capital Budget to manage and develop the five-year capital outlay plan by supporting the District's capital requirements to secure revenue from all available sources.


    ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE


    • An earned bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
    • Minimum of eight (8) years of progressively more responsible experience in a field related to the title of the position.
    • Prior experience required in accounting, budgeting, finance, or financial reporting in a supervisory or management position.
    • Requires the ability to prepare comprehensive, easily understood reports as well as the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups, both orally and in writing.
    • Computer skills as required for the position.
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE


    • Prior experience preferred in capital budgeting.
    • Bilingual skills preferred.
    SIGNIFICANT CONTACTS-frequency, contact, purpose


    • Works with Associate, Assistant and Deputy Superintendents, State Department of Education, Department Heads, professional support groups and community.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force as frequently as needed to move objects

    TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

    • Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with the District's approved compensation plan. Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be those established by the School Board.
