We are looking for motivated support to join our team in Lake Placid, NY as soon as possible.
Technologist (m/f/d) for Semiconductor Cleaning Process Development


Your responsibilities:


  • Development, optimization, and qualification of new processes internally, with development partners, and at key customers worldwide
  • Project management for development projects, project support for customer orders with nonstandardized components
  • Creation of specifications for internal and external development teams
  • Creation of requirements specifications for internal and external project sponsors
  • Participation in design reviews, risk analyses, FMEAs, and similar procedures
  • Preparation of necessary technical documentation for (new) developments
  • Development of competitive advantages for SMTPE, e.g. documented through patents
  • Specification and definition of standard processes on tools of the Business Unit
  • Support of the service organization in process setup on site, including training of colleagues and customers

Your profile:


  • Completed university degree, preferably in physics, chemistry, or process engineering
  • Industrial work experience, preferably in technology development in the semiconductor industry
  • Experience with methods for statistical process control (SPC) and design of experiments (DOE)
  • First knowledge of the semiconductor industry is an advantage
  • Independent, goaloriented, and responsible working style (handson mentality)
  • Teamwork, communication skills, and a strong customer orientation
  • High selfmotivation to develop solutions
  • Willingness to travel (worldwide)
  • Good German
