    Position Summary:

    The Warehouse Systems Support role will support the WMS Manager on the solution design and deployment of Oracles Cloud-based Warehouse Management System (WMS) across the BBU bakery and DC operations.

    This position will work with stakeholders on requirements gathering, design a suitable solution under Grupo Bimbos global model, documenting and communicating progress and change requests related to the project. This position will become an expert of the system to train key users and provide guidance on system configuration, process and layout design throughout the various implementations. Right after each go-live, the Warehouse Systems Support role will provide hypercare support to ensure no disruption to our operations and a smooth transition to the IT Helpdesk.

    Once the system is fully implemented across BBU, the Warehouse Systems Support role will become part of the WMS COE (Center of Excellence) to help identify system enhancements, validate new versions and support any future implementation.

    PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

    Fulfill role of WMS knowledge expert for warehouse management system implementation through all project phases from requirements gathering/analysis through go-live support and hypercare.

    Assist with the gathering and analysis of customer and operational requirements and partner with shipping and DC operations management to translate these requirements into a solution design.

    Participate in integration meetings with technical teams to help determine specifications relative to integration mapping and product configuration.

    Assist in the development of test plans, data, and cycles to ensure that all requirements identified in the requirements gathering phase will be validated.

    Provide guidance, and training/knowledge transfer to a team of supporting implementation resources to ensure stability of the project during and after initial deployment.

    Participate in on-site implementation and customer interaction to ensure delivery of business requirements.

    Ensure that appropriate tools/processes are leveraged, and effective communication and support is provided throughout the process.

    Document any new applicable functional requirements as necessary for enhancements to core products to meet scope of proposed solution.

    Create and update training materials as needed.

    Train and mentor team associates on solutions and best practice in support of implementations and continuous improvement.

    Help define, monitor and analyze WMS Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

    Able to travel 75%

    Position Requirements:

    Key Job Responsibilities:

    EDUCATION

    Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management (SCM), Warehousing, Logistics, Business or related field preferred.

    EXPERIENCE

    5 7 or more years of experience in warehousing operations or warehousing systems implementation.

    Two (2) to Four (4) years experience utilizing a major WMS platform; Oracle preferred.

    GUI or Web Design configuration experience is helpful.

    Exposure and knowledge of all facets of Supply Chain operations.

    Knowledge of FDA and OSHA regulations is helpful.

    COMPETENCIES/SKILLS

    Well organized and able to manage multiple projects and priorities.

    Excellent computer skills.

    Ability to work effectively with multifunctional teams.

    Strong Communication skills (written & verbal).

    Bi-lingual (Spanish and English preferred).
