    Description

    Leidos is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the ​Knowledge Manager role to work in our San Antonio, TX office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Integrated Defensive Cyber Systems mission. The ideal candidate will have ​experience working on complex systems​. This position is located near Lackland Air Force Base; all work is onsite.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Conduct comprehensive information searches, knowledge mapping, and knowledge management activities.
    • Ensure adherence to laws, regulations, policies, and ethical standards related to cybersecurity and privacy.
    • Design, build, implement, and maintain a knowledge management framework that provides end-users with access to the organization's intellectual capital.
    • Promote and facilitate knowledge sharing among information owners and users through the organization's operational processes and systems.
    • Lead initiatives to enhance the organization's knowledge management and information-sharing practices.
    • Collaborate closely with military personnel, subject matter experts, and partner organizations to integrate knowledge management practices seamlessly into the customer's environment.
    • Provide actionable insights to improve decision-making processes.
    • Transform legacy Air Force knowledge management processes, such as disparate or duplicative websites and long email chains, into modern, interactive knowledge bases using forums and wikis.
    • Lead the transformation of technical writers using static Word documents for technical configuration, checklists, and training documents into tech editors supporting thousands of collaborators. Implement online/interactive methods that include hyperlinks, document tagging, and collaborative editing processes to eliminate inaccurate information, improve technical accuracy, and recognize strong contributors.

    Basic Qualifications

    • BA degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of relevant experience. Experience may be considered in lieu of education.
    • In-depth expertise with Jira, Confluence, and forum operations.
    • Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation abilities.
    • Proficient in MS Office and knowledgeable in information control best practices.
    • Experienced in Agile methodologies and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
    • Skilled in test-driven development (TDD), software test planning, and automation.
    • Must possess an active Secret clearance, and the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Prior experience with defensive cyber
    • Prior experience supporting Air Force Cyber or Cyber Command
    • Prior experience with AFLCMC/HNCD

    Pay Range:

    Pay Range $87, $157,450.00

    The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
