The
"Blicki blickt's" Traffic Initiative will be conducting traffic education workshops in Berlin and Potsdam on June 13th, 14th, and 17th, 2023.

These workshops will take place at elementary schools and a public square.

We are looking for helpers to assist us with the workshops and setup and breakdown on these days. Individuals with a background in education, teaching, or pedagogy are preferred, but not required. Experience working with children is also a plus.


The main idea of the workshop is to learn through play at four different stations with the mascot Blicki, in connection with a real truck.


The content of the stations is as follows:
Station - Audio play, exercise on field of vision
Station - Exercises on braking distance
Station - Practical experience with the truck (blind spot)
Station - Quiz in the theater tent (including surprise from mascot Blicki)


Available positions:

-
Position 1: Supervision of a workshop station, explaining simple traffic rules; Requirements: Native-level German, good teamwork and interaction with children, friendly and reliable

Position 2: Mascot Blicki in a kangaroo costume; Requirements: Minimum height of 1.70m, no dust allergy, friendly and reliable


Working hours:
Approximately 7am - 1pm daily


Compensation: 100 €/ day through the so-called exercise leader
