    We are currently seeking a talented Group Account Director to assume a key role at SPCSHP in Seattle. This position calls for a visionary leader with a strategic mindset, strong creative sensibilities, and an entrepreneurial drive. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in developing comprehensive campaigns encompassing digital, social, web, video, and content platforms, along with a knack for identifying and seizing growth opportunities. An inherent curiosity for internet culture, coupled with the ability to champion our agency's work, culture, and processes, is essential.

    The role involves collaborating with and leading individuals at all levels within our clients' organizations, as well as engaging with cross-functional teams encompassing social, strategy, design, analytics, and technology. A deep understanding of marketing planning processes, coupled with the ability to not only meet but surpass client expectations and deliverables, is crucial. This position also entails providing thought leadership, partnering with other agency leads, managing social strategy and content teams, and demonstrating a balance between strategic oversight and hands-on involvement to generate creative solutions that align with client objectives. The Group Account Director role represents a significant leadership opportunity at SPCSHP.

    Role + Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with Director-level to CMO-level client contacts across business units while staying engaged with the day-to-day client team
    • Lead multiple aspects of campaign development and management
    • Persuasively communicate advanced strategic concepts, drive initiatives, and embody the agency's values
    • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the client's business through ongoing research on the brand, its industry, and competitors
    • Exhibit comprehensive understanding of the advertising landscape and effective ways to achieve outstanding results
    • Oversee the creation of top-tier creative work by leveraging knowledge of the client/business/brand and displaying strong creative judgment
    • Stay informed about clients' cross-channel marketing, social trends, and channel transformations
    • Craft short-term and long-term strategies for brand, social, and digital initiatives in collaboration with the Group Strategy Director
    • Ensure the efficient operation of financial and administrative systems
    • Possess expertise in scoping, timeline development, project management, margin optimization, and revenue growth in close coordination with project management, production, and finance teams
    • Resolve daily account-related issues as they arise
    • Accurately forecast and prepare for opportunities for growth
    • Identify and secure new business prospects for the agency and client growth opportunities
    • Supervise team members
    • Contribute to the account discipline practice and be passionate about enhancing the discipline's culture
    • Report to the VP of Account Management or Managing Director and work closely with the agency's C-suite

    Requirements:

    • Bring at least 10 years of experience as a brand custodian and strategic partner to senior-level clients, with a minimum of 4 recent years focused on social media
    • Be willing to be present at the clients' office up to 3 times a week, based in Seattle
    • Demonstrate expertise in delivering and managing integrated social marketing campaigns
    • Worked with VP-level and C-suite Agency Teams
    • Engaged with VP-level and C-suite Client Teams
    • Possess experience in overseeing multiple integrated social marketing campaigns simultaneously
    • Managed a sizable multidisciplinary global account
    • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
    • Strong management skills
    • Demonstrated success in selling cross-disciplinary work
    • Led a business portfolio generating multimillion-dollar revenue
    • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and report on all financial aspects of the account, including actuals, forecasts, margin, and overall performance
