RWE Offshore Wind GmbH, based in Hamburg and Essen, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Legal Counsel (f/m/d) to join our fast-growing international business. This is a full-time, permanent position that is available immediately.


As a Senior Legal Counsel in our Construction & Procurement Law Department, you will work closely with other members of the RWE Offshore Wind Legal Team and collaborate with various departments to provide comprehensive legal support to our global business.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing legal support for international procurement, construction, and operation activities, with a focus on Germany and continental Europe
  • Advising, developing, drafting, and negotiating various procurement contracts throughout the entire life cycle of RWE Offshore Wind projects (e.g. turbine supply agreements, foundation agreements, EPC(I) & turnkey contracts, purchase agreements for components, service agreements, maritime logistics contracts, etc.)
  • Acting as the main point of contact for legal advice on projects and coordinating with internal and external legal advisors in a costeffective and efficient manner
  • Overseeing all legal matters related to projects within your scope, including those handled by other specialized lawyers, and advising senior management on potential legal risks, claims, and disputes
  • Providing support in dispute resolution situations, including liaising with external counsel
  • Driving standardization and process improvement initiatives
  • Developing customized solutions for complex project challenges
