The MIW gGmbH offers various housing projects for people with learning disabilities. Around 20 employees work for the organization, which supports approximately 70 adults.


We are looking for reinforcements for our team at our "Supported Individual Living" (SIL) program, where adults with learning difficulties are supported in their own homes.

Our team consists of special education teachers, educators, and social workers.


According to the individual educational plans that need to be created and billed, the individuals should be supported in a way that enables them to live as independently as possible.

This requires both supportive, advisory, and assisting activities, as well as accompanying tasks.


Your responsibilities include:

  • Individual promotion of skills and abilities, taking into account the resources of the residents and supporting a selfdetermined lifestyle according to the HMBW procedure or ICF
  • Designing and documenting comprehensive and planned support for the residents
  • Taking on responsibility within the framework of individual support
  • Collaboration with family members, legal guardians, and other helpers, as well as accompanying them to relevant appointments
  • Participation in the development of support plans and creating progress reports with the management and residents
  • Managing and organizing internal documentation
  • Accompanying and implementing medical and therapeutic measures
No nursing tasks are to be performed
