To Soar Again

To Soar Again

As a child I'd dream that I could fly. I willed myself into the air with a mere thought which took me into the sky, soaring, free and full of joy. It was exhilarating! Thinking about it now still stirs a special place in my soul.

There was a catch. If I let even the slightest thought of the impossibility of being able to fly cross my mind, I would come quickly back down to earth and would be unable to soar again in that dream. I remember waking up frustrated wondering why this was so.

I now know why and I am able once again to fly.
