A split second decision to give a simple smile. Often that's all it takes to change someone from a stranger into someone who will listen and care. The sharing of a smile is certainly a more civil and congenial way to begin a conversation with anyone, including someone you don't know.

A simple smile can break the ice, break language barriers, break through a tense moment and even soften a hardened heart. A smile says," hello, you're welcome and thank you" all in an instant. Most important a smile says, "I care enough about you to show it".

Do you care enough to give a smile away to a complete stranger today, tomorrow, every day? Amazingly the more smiles you give the more you begin to receive. In this season of giving, please consider brightening the world by giving others a reason to smile.
