The Ripple Effect

Are you truly alive or merely existing?
Merely existing is like like a stone being dropped in the water of a still pond, causing ripples at a single point on the surface as it descends to its final resting place. It's a tiny effect.
Being truly alive is like a stone skipping across the surface of that same pond, leaving many sets of ripples along its path, until it too finally sinks. There's a greater effect.
How far will you travel in your life and how many ripples will you create before you reach the point where your momentum is gone and you find your final point of rest? The choice is yours.
