The FINAL Friday Funday of 2017!
OK, who stole 2017? Wasn't it just 2010 a week or two ago? And do you remember the hoopla of 1999 turning into 2000? Wasn't that just a few years ago?
There's a lot of truth in the saying that we need to live in the present; it goes by so darned fast! We should laugh, live, and love!
So, focusing on the first of the Ls ... laugh ... let's ring out the old year with these beauties, the first four of which come from Dave Tinson, who is an LI connection and finds seriously good stuff.
The first two seemed destined to be together, as do the third and fourth!
This one below is truly appropriate right now; the temps here in southern New England are actually -4. What were the odds?
Now THIS is awkward . . .
A touching tribute to a clothes dryer ...
The picture below comes from a friend, Jim Saelzer, and it sure looks like the front of the kitten that I featured in last week's Friday Funday post!
And my favorite for today -- more words with oddball definitions, courtesy of The Washington Post.
Oh, and that bottle above the header? Because New Year's Eve is imminent, I wanted to buy some champagne. This is my picture of what I didn't buy ... I figured if they didn't know what style it was, I wasn't going to take a chance. (And I laughed so hard, I had other customers taking a couple of steps backwards -- away from me.)聽
I hope you have the happiest of New Year's celebrations, and that we all continue to enjoy our connections around the world in the coming new year -- 2018!
Which one is YOUR favorite today?
Many of these funnies come from Facebook pages that you can access any time you need a few more good laughs. My favorites are聽Single Dad Laughing,聽I am not a grammar cop,聽Language Cranks Redux,聽Pun Based Humor,聽The Valley of Pun Memes,聽Wrong Hands,聽Tickle my Punnybone, and聽Tannuzzo Copywriting.

Actually, Renée 🐝 Cormier, I'm likely to be dancing with my two pups, if they'll agree. I don't usually go out on New Year's -- but I do enjoy a glass (or three) of champagne. Happy New Year to you, and thanks for your support for my posts!

Life sure does move quickly, doesn't it, ? Every time I realize what an old broad I am, I'm amazed. Wasn't I just 30 or 40 a couple of years ago? Sigh. Happy New Year, and thanks for supporting my posts!
