My Secret To Finding Profitable Opportunities With Social Media

My Secret To Finding Profitable Opportunities With Social Media

2dd358fa.jpg

Because of my concerted, massive outflow on social media and email from Early March to mid April 2020, I have created more opportunities over that time than the prior 30 weeks - combined.

When the SHTF in early March 2020, I decided to “out create” the negativity in a massive way. I knew that nothing short of MASSIVE action would keep my brand above water.

I purposely pushed out a ton of content with data, actions to take, and STRONG opinions.

Do I get push back and complaints as a result? Absolutely.

Some Of My Strong Opinions

I have no respect for weak men. I can’t stand golf, liberalism, psychiatry, Brussels sprouts, humidity, flat terrain, death metal, or the LA Rams.

And I absolutely love my family, church, country, liberty, guns, bacon, kettle bells, motorcycles, the mountains, marketing, success, money, a good book, Texas blues, wisdom, bourbon, and kissing a pretty woman.

I'm not ashamed of what I like and what I don’t like. And I’m utterly willing to say anything to anyone.

Why This Works For Me

I’m creating more opportunities because of these strong opinions and content. I am genuine to more core beliefs, and I communicate them with no apologies.

Wishy-washy doesn’t attract, build a brand, nor does it sell. Only the weak are attracted to the weak. You gotta make a racket to stand out, get noticed, and attract your tribe.

I woke up at 6 am this morning and already had close to 100 interactions with my content (comments, likes, shares, retweets, etc). That was while I was sleeping.

By the end of any 24 hour period, I’ll have close to 500 interactions per day. I don’t engage with everyone. I tend to engage with only those that seem like an opportunity, to call someone out on their BS, or just to say thanks.

From those interactions, I glean my big opportunities!

How?

By “engaging with the engagers”

Here's My Secret

The secret to my success with social media is putting out very strong-minded content. Whether it be emotional, cognitive, controversial, whatever have you. In-your-face and definitive content gets people into an action with you of some sort.

When strong content is put forward, people tend to engage more often. And when people engage with me, I then engage with them. And then opportunities will arise from the smoke.

I like the smoke. It means there is activity, energy.

Activity and energy leads to productivity, when challenged and harnessed correctly.

Interesting article, really insightful. Doing your own experiments gives you clear imaging of what is working and what is not.

Edwin, Couldn't agree more. The way to build a tribe is to lead it. And so it goes.
