Given the context of the football game, I can't help feeling that the coach would have done better to praise this particular circumstance while encouraging the player to really enjoy the moment because it's a ‘once in a lifetime’ event that a linebacker gets away from tacklers in this situation. 

Feedback generally is important but tricky. Everyone wants to be told that they are great but we can get defensive if we are told that we are not great enough. It's probably how we handle the defensiveness that makes the feedback work.
