    Job Summary:


    Acura of Avon is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our team in Hartford, serving the Canton, Connecticut area.

    This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry, with a competitive compensation package ranging from $21 to $30 per hour.

    This individual contributor role will be responsible for providing exceptional service and maintenance on Acura vehicles while ensuring customer satisfaction.


    Compensation & Benefits:

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on Acura vehicles according to manufacturer and dealership specifications
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
    • Provide customers with detailed explanations and recommendations for repairs or services needed
    • Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used
    • Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers about vehicle status and timelines
    • Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working in the service department

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive service technician
    • Acura factory training and certification preferred
    • ASE certifications preferred
    • Strong diagnostic and problemsolving skills
    • Excellent time management and organization abilities
    • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
    • Able to pass a background check and drug test
