    Operations Manager

    • Raleigh, NC
    • Dayshift Mon-Fri
    • $100,000 - $125,000
    • Building products manufacturer

    We are working with an established building products manufacturing company based in Raleigh, NC. They are recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager to join their team on Dayshift(Mon-Fri) in return for a salary in the region of $100,000 - $125,000 depending on experience, along with excellent employment benefits which include 401K, Healthcare, Vision and Dental.

    Duties as an Operations Manager:

    • Accountable for the overall production, delivery, inventory control, and maintenance of equipment
    • Oversees the development and implementation of inventory control programs to meet location inventory levels and turns
    • Motivates employees, maintains a productive workforce, and trains successor management
    • Reviews and approves wage and salary increases and establishes objectives and performance measures
    • Recommends capital improvements in view of forecasted demand for various products, efficiency of current equipment
    • Institutes a cost-effective vehicle and equipment maintenance program
    • Reports obsolete equipment/facilities and submits recommendations regarding replacements or improvements
    • Supports and reinforces company safety initiatives to ensure compliance with all OSHA and DOT requirements
    • Communicates and enforces company policies and procedures as they pertain to the daily functions of all departments
    • Acts as a liaison between employees and management to foster a healthy work environment

    Qualifications & Experience required:

    • Five years related managerial experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Must have prior experience in manufacturing or construction management industry
