    Teacher Certified in Visual Impairment
    ProCare Therapy is actively searching for a highly skilled Teacher Certified in Visual Impairment in Copague, New Yorkthat is seeking to join one of our trusted school districts for the school year.     Job Description
    TVI will be providing instruction at a place of "mutual education" like the library or somewhere on the school campus with 18 year old student.

    • 3-24 school year, ASAP- Jun 26
    • 30 minutes, 2x per week
    • The schedule is flexible
    • 1:1 with 18 year old student
    • Write IEPs and conduct Evaluations and Assessments
    • Communicate Effectively with Teachers, Psychologists, Families, etc.
    • Oversee Treatment of Students and Staff


    Job Requirements

    • Certification through ADE, current IVP card,
    • Good references, experience as a T-VI case manager
    • Master's in Education/Special Education isrequired
    • Must have certification to be a TVI is an Add-On to your teaching license
    • Must be able to pass a drug and background check


    Interview Process

    • 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Recruiter
    • 20-30 minute virtual/in-person interview with school district
    • Offer is typically within 24 hours of virtual interview
