Description

At the earliest possible time, we are looking for you as a Operations Dispatcher (m/f/d) for the business unit DB Regio AG at our location in Kiel.

Your responsibilities:
You are responsible for ensuring a contract-compliant and high-quality transport service in the network by monitoring and controlling transport processes
In case of operational disruptions, you are responsible for comprehensive internal and external customer information and planning necessary replacement arrangements using internal IT systems
Your tasks include dispatching vehicle and personnel resources in case of deviations from the planned resource deployment in operations
You are responsible for maintaining a complete and comprehensive documentation of delays and their causes
Additionally, you are responsible for ensuring the safe, operational and roadworthy condition of treated vehicles by timely delivery to workshops before the start of operations

Your profile:
You have completed vocational training and/or have experience in operations and control center services or logistics
You have extensive knowledge of operational/technical and traffic-related matters and the IT systems used in transport management (ISTP, LeiDIS, Fred, Edith, IVU-Control, Business Objects) or are willing to acquire them
Proficient PC skills (MS Office) are required
You are suitable for operational and shift work, including night shifts and working on weekends and holidays
Good knowledge of traffic geography is desirable and you are willing to acquire necessary qualifications
