Tasks and Process

As an industrial mechanic, you are the competent contact person in our production areas and ensure a smooth process in our production. You set up production systems, convert them, put them into operation and control the process. You are also responsible for maintenance and repair. You make an important contribution to the success of our products and our company. During your apprenticeship, you will learn how to operate and program machines and complete production systems. Through project tasks in a team, you will gain insights into business processes and quality assurance systems.

Requirements and Duration of Training

You need a qualified secondary school leaving certificate for the apprenticeship. The regular training period is 3.5 years. With good theoretical and practical performance during your apprenticeship or with a corresponding school education, you can be admitted to the IHK final examination ahead of time. This shortens your training period to 3
