    American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Pediatrics Float Pool position with BLS and PALS certification required.

    Responsibilities

    • Work in the Pediatrics Float Pool of a hospital setting
    • Care for a variety of pediatric patients with conditions ranging from simple to complex
    • Night shifts with weekend and holiday requirements
    • Assigned three 12-hour shifts per week
    • Floating is required within the float pool
    • Responsible for a group of pediatric patients, including administering medication and monitoring responses
    • Assists with minor diagnostic procedures and treatments
    • Coordinates with family and healthcare team to share care plans and discharge information
    • Delegates tasks to support staff as appropriate
    • May only extend one time up to a total of 26 weeks before a required 6 month separation from further contracts

    Requirements

    • Active OK or compact RN license required
    • Minimum of one year of RN experience
    • Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
    • BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association required
    • Good verbal and written communication skills required
    • Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care
    • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility
