    American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Float Pool position requiring an active OK or compact RN license and at least one year of nursing experience.

    Responsibilities

    • Work in the Pediatric Float Pool within a hospital setting
    • Required to float to various pediatric units as needed
    • Twelve-hour shifts, three days per week
    • Weekend and holiday shifts are required
    • Patient care responsibilities include administering medication, monitoring vital signs, and assisting physicians with procedures
    • Expected to interact with and support both patients and their families regarding care plans and hospital procedures
    • Delegates appropriate tasks to support staff and works collaboratively with the healthcare team
    • Work must be performed more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not eligible
    • Holiday coverage is required as scheduled

    Requirements

    • Active RN license issued by OK or a valid multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
    • Current BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
    • Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
    • Minimum of one year prior RN experience required
    • Some computer proficiency and strong communication skills
