- Job Title: Senior Business Analyst
- Location:55 Broadway, 8th Floor, New York, New York 10006
- Job Description: Research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software as part of the System Development Life Cycle. Gather requirements and perform functional design, test plans, and functional testing. Leverage expertise with computer information systems to conduct user acceptance testing and project implementation. Gather user requirements from external and internal clients via User Requirements Documentation and end-user interviews. Create functional design documents based upon user requirements along with stakeholders and technical development staff. Provide on-going project support for regression and system testing. Develop Implementation Plans and validate the successful implementation of projects. Interact with all levels of the organization to ensure timely completion with the highest degree of quality of industry, regulatory and client initiatives. Participate in project estimation process. Draft and design documentation to build and alter APIs. Serve as current Product Owner of 2 Agile teams. Utilize skills for BA/PO in Wealth Web Services/APIs. Serve as SME for several HOST/Back Office domains, including accounting and security master, trading, settlements, and user and entitlements. Champion requirements for CAT regulatory initiative. 100% telecommuting allowed from anywhere in the United States.
- Education Requirement:Bachelor's degree in CS, CIS, finance, business or related
- Experience Requirement: 3 years of experience as a business analyst, programmer, software developer, systems analyst, QA analyst or related.
- Special Skills:Must have work experience with each of the following: 1) Experience in brokerage or financial services; 2) Business analysis and product ownership experience for Wealth Web Services/APIs, including experience drafting documentation to build and alter APIs; 3) Mainframe experience; 4) CAT regulatory experience; 5) JIRA and Confluence; and 6) QA, testing and development experience. 100% telecommuting allowed from anywhere in the United States.
