Your Opportunity:

Operational handling of European shipments of air freight, sea freight (full containers and partial loads), truck full loads, LTL and express shipments in Folsom, PA.

Selection of transport service providers for runtime and cost reduction.

Independent planning and tracking of transport and delivery dates, as well as fine-tuning with internal customers.

Changing delivery notes and creating invoices, as well as generating freight documents in SAP.

Creation of calculations, cost calculations, and passing on packaging and freight costs in customer invoices according to the specifications of the sales departments.

Control function for dangerous goods shipments.

Coordination of forwarding vehicles for pick-ups.

Verification of freight invoices, including release for payment.

Your Profile:

Successfully completed commercial apprenticeship as a merchant (m/f/d) for forwarding and logistics services.

First professional experience in the field of logistics/shipping.

Proficient in SAP (SAP R3) and MS Office.

High flexibility and self-initiative, as well as structured and solution-oriented work.

Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
