    Our primary goal is to establish and implement data management and governance practices across the entire organization. Data architecture is fundamental to data management and a critical component in Sinch's strategic vision and roadmap.
    Responsibilities

    Direct team that establishes data architecture for both real-time, near-real time, and data warehousing solutions
    Interact with Enterprise Data Architecture team to ensure that data architecture strategies follow those of the Enterprise
    Collaborate with senior management to implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with business goals and objectives

    Lead the design and development of scalable and efficient data architecture solutions that support data ingestion, storage, integration, and analytics.

    Oversee the development and maintenance of data models, ensuring consistency, integrity, and optimization of data structures.

    Work with VP of Data Governance & Fabric Ops to enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.

    Evaluate new technologies and tools in the data management space, recommending adoption based on business needs and industry trends.
    Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the data architecture team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver
    Experience with DCAM, DAMA or other Data Management frameworks
    Experience collaborating with data owners and stewards to translate their business requirements for development teams.

    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and database design.

    Proven experience in leading and managing teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
    Strong knowledge of data management concepts, including data warehousing, data lakes, ETL processes, data fabric, and data governance.
    Expertise in data modeling techniques and tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, or similar.
    Hands-on experience with modern data technologies and platforms (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, cloud-based data services).
    Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
