Our primary goal is to establish and implement data management and governance practices across the entire organization. Data architecture is fundamental to data management and a critical component in Sinch's strategic vision and roadmap.
    Responsibilities

    • Direct team that establishes data architecture for both real-time, near-real time, and data warehousing solutions
    • Interact with Enterprise Data Architecture team to ensure that data architecture strategies follow those of the Enterprise
    • Collaborate with senior management to implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with business goals and objectives
    • Lead the design and development of scalable and efficient data architecture solutions that support data ingestion, storage, integration, and analytics.
    • Oversee the development and maintenance of data models, ensuring consistency, integrity, and optimization of data structures.
    • Work with VP of Data Governance & Fabric Ops to enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
    • Evaluate new technologies and tools in the data management space, recommending adoption based on business needs and industry trends.
    • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the data architecture team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver
    Requirements
    • Experience with DCAM, DAMA or other Data Management frameworks
    • Experience collaborating with data owners and stewards to translate their business requirements for development teams.
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and database design.
    • Proven experience in leading and managing teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
    • Strong knowledge of data management concepts, including data warehousing, data lakes, ETL processes, data fabric, and data governance.
    • Expertise in data modeling techniques and tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, or similar.
    • Hands-on experience with modern data technologies and platforms (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, cloud-based data services).
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
