    Plant Manager
    • Memphis OperationsThe Memphis facility has over 450 hourly and salaried employees engaged in the processing, packaging and shipment of rice products at the optimum low cost and high quality standards for a variety of consumer end uses.
    The Plant Manager is responsible for the planning, directing, operating and controlling of the manufacturing facility.

    The position has managerial responsibility for a staff of 11 across all functional areas (Processing, Packaging, Ready to Serve (RTS), Supply Chain, Quality, Maintenance, Sanitation, Safety, Finance, Warehouse and HR).


    Key Skills/Attributes Needed:
    The successful candidate must have extensive manufacturing operational knowledge5 to 10 years of experience as a Plant ManagerMust be able to provide guidance and direction to staff in a complex, fast paced environmentLabor Relations/Union experience is highly preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skills are necessaryAnalyzes operations and develops solutions to problems to minimize or eliminate variances and production based challengesStrong collaborator and team builder to gain alignment and cohesivenessExcellent at developing subordinates for future leadership opportunitiesAbility to develop short and long-term strategies, then implement them from concept into executable componentsEducation:A Bachelors' degree in Engineering or Technical Degree is preferableAn Equal Opportunity Employer - M/F/D/V
