    Compact Construction Equipment (CCE) Account Manager – Your Job Duties

    In this role, you will be responsible for helping the company grow by selling the John Deere agriculture equipment in the Santa Clara area. You will:

    • Visit customers and prospects in the field (estimated 90% of your time will be out in the field visiting customers, 10% in the store to showcase equipment)
    • Identify new potential customers to sell compact construction equipment, following various potential lead channels including social media, leads lists
    • Work leads provided to you through company website and social media
    • Input sales data into the Dealer Path CRM system to track ongoing customer leads and documentation
    • Use the John Deere software platform to generate sales quotes
    • Meet sales metrics and KPIs
    • Maintain current product knowledge of all equipment, parts, and services available to customer accounts.
    • Maintain current knowledge of financing and risk management options to assist customer accounts with securing the purchase of a solution.
    • Maintain and communicate current knowledge of customer account operational requirements, both agronomic / turf industry and / or business goals.

    Compact Construction Equipment (CCE) Account Manager – Required Skills & Prior Experience

    • Prior experience in a agriculture equipment sales role, ideally with compact agriculture equipment (ie: Row Crop Tractors, Compact Tractors, Utility Tractors, etc.)
    • You enjoy meeting with customers and getting out in the field / being on the road
    • Ability to travel – you will be out in the field visiting potential customers
    • Ability to enter and update customer data into CRM system
    • Winning mindset and motivation to sell and close deals / growth mindset

    Compact Construction Equipment (CCE) Account Manager – Desired, Not Required

    • Prior experience and/or knowledge of John Deere products or in working at a tractor dealership selling compact agriculture/construction equipment

    Compensation $40,000 - $60,000 DOE, plus commission on percentage of sales.

    This position includes full medical, dental and vision insurance with a variety of coverage options, company-provided cell phone and laptop, auto allowance, 3 weeks PTO to start, employer-funded 401k and additional Roth option. This position requires successful completion of driving record check (MVR), background investigation and drug test prior to start date.
