    Description

    Senior Tax ManagerWe are partnering with a public accounting firm seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join their team.

    This individual will play a pivotal role in leading tax engagements, managing client relationships, and driving business development initiatives.

    This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to make a significant impact while building market presence and selling to clients.


    Responsibilities:
    Lead and oversee tax compliance and planning engagements for a diverse client base, including individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.

    Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic tax guidance and solutions to optimize their financial position and achieve their business objectives.

    Builds new relationships and maintains existing relationships with professionals and external sources.
    Oversee and review the preparation of corporate and state tax filings. Drive business development efforts by identifying opportunities to expand services, cultivate new client relationships, and build market presence.
    Collaborate with firm leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives to enhance the firm's tax practice and service offerings.
    Reviews work prepared by, train, and mentor associates & senior associates.
    Schedules and manages workload of associates and senior associates.
    Ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
    Stay current on changes to tax laws and regulations and communicate potential impacts to clients and team members.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    CPA license required. 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax compliance and planning.
    Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building market presence and selling to clients.
    Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
    Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor team members.
    Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
