    Position: Tax Manager

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a driven tax professional to lead a team of accounting professionals in all aspects of client tax advisory and compliance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide both experienced and entry-level team members.

    Responsibilities:

    Conduct technical review of individual and business income tax returns.

    Independently research and provide advice on tax issues.

    Train, supervise, and motivate staff members.

    Offer constructive feedback to enhance staff performance.

    Evaluate and advise staff members as necessary.

    Manage multiple client tax engagements and act as the primary contact.

    Serve as a liaison between staff members and partners.

    We are a reputable CPA firm located in North Raleigh, offering a competitive salary based on experience. We are open to on-site, hybrid, and full remote work arrangements. Exceptional performance in this role may lead to partnership opportunities in the near future.

    Required Skills And Experience:

    Five or more years of public accounting experience.

    Extensive experience preparing and/or reviewing business and individual tax returns.

    Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify tax issues.

    Proficiency in working in a paperless workpaper environment.

    Excellent communication skills for interactions with team members and clients.

    Willingness to take on responsibilities including reviewing staff work and managing clients.

    Preferred Skills (Not Required):

    Prior experience in supervising and/or managing staff.
