    Description


    As a Sales Executive you will prospect for and sell Keenan Financial Services products to new and existing clients in the Southern and Northern California region as well as out of state, while maintaining existing relationships with clients in the assigned territory .


    Keenan, an Accretive company, is an insurance brokerage and consulting firm meeting the insurance needs of hospitals, public entities and California school districts.

    Keenan specializes in providing consulting services in the areas of:
    employee benefits, workers' compensation, loss control, financial, and property & liability.

    What You'll Do

    Provide strategic consulting for Keenan Financial Services products to new and existing clients.
    Establish and maintain relationships with prospective clients by providing regular visits and open communication.

    Use consultative sales techniques to suggest new services and products and make recommendations based on analysis of prospect's existing insurance packages, circumstances and needs.

    Collaborate with the P&C and EB counterparts in your assigned territory to maximize sales opportunities.
    Participate as a representative of the company and attend industry association events and conferences.
    Develop, design and present strategic plans and fiscal analysis to clients.
    Ensure timely, accurate and efficient service to clients.
    Maintain thorough knowledge of prospective clients and key clients within assigned territory.
    Prepare and produce scheduled reports in a timely manner.
    Maintain CRM system for assigned territory.
    Attend on-going educational/training programs required by the State to maintain current license status.
    Maintain positive attitude and flexible hours.
    Assist with special projects.
    All other duties as assigned.
    Regular travel required within territory assigned, which may include overnight stays.

    What You'll Need

    Prior experience as a producer or Account Executive as well as proven relationship-based sales success
    Minimum of five (5) years of public agency and/or insurance industry experience.

    Must have a proven sales record and be a self-starter who is detail oriented and has excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.

    Possess negotiating skills and mathematical ability.
    General knowledge of management and decision making of California Public Agencies (i.e., insurance committees, bargaining units, etc.).
    Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

    Compensation

    The target salary range for this position is $100,000.00 to $125, US Dollar) annually.

    The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

    The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
