Research Technician
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, perform and analyze in vitro and in vivo experiments using tools of molecular and cellular biology,
- Collect and analyze clinical data from clinical databases and electronic health records, bioinformatics and statistics, animal models, and animal physiology in order to address fundamental mechanistic questions related to health and diseaserelated physiology
- Lab administration coordination with respect to maintaining a safe, productive and compliant lab environment
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences, Chemistry or Physics
EXPERIENCE:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Some experience with tissue culture, and molecular biology is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills
All team members will work with a diverse and experienced team of PhD and MD trained scientists, and will receive training in responsible conduct of research and animal ethics.
Team members will be expected to present their findings in local and international scientific meetings, and to contribute as co-authors for publications during their tenure.
Previous members have published in journals including Science Translational Medicine, Nature Medicine, American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, Nature Chemical Biology, and Blood Journal.
